Eastern Norwich Scout District
Congratulations to all those who travelled to South Shields for the weekend 9/10/11 Sep for the UK Scout National Sailing Championships. The district was represented by 3 groups, 1st Blofield and Brundall, 8th Norwich and 30th Norwich.
Good winds were had all weekend and two trophies were collected by the sailors.
Barney Price and Michael Sawyer, 1st Blofield and Brundall Sea Scouts won the Under 18 Fast Handicap in an Enterprise.
Jamie Manners, 8th Norwich, collected the leaders trophy, sailing a topper.
Well done to all who took part. Next year is to be hosted by 2nd Warwick.
